I love My Little Pony. I can't remember a time where I didn't. I was like 3 when my mom exposed me to it. My early childhood was spent listening to the G3 cartoon's songs over and over. Unfortunately, as soon as I grew out of the G3 cartoon's age range, a certain new My Little Pony cartoon begun airing. I distinctly remember watching the pilot on the TV in my parent's basement and being amazed. I didn't stand a chance. So... I also spent my middle childhood listening to horse music.
I don't own any G1 ponies, even though I adore them. My mom had an Applejack when she was a kid. Definitely gone now though, sold or lost to time. (-just like the 1984 Care Bears Braveheart plush she had. I'm not a big Care Bears fan nor do I really know much about them, but that plush keeps me up at night. Seriously, it's 1 am as I'm writing this.)
I've found that some of my older G3 ponies' plastic has gone a little soft. This means a lot of my childhood ponies can't stand up straight. Years of chucking them around definitely didn't help. Also a lot of their manes are frayed at the ends :(. I hope to take pictures of all the ponies I have and add them to this page, so in case I ever decide to sell them I'll have a archive of them.
